Interview with WUSF Radio

Here is a link to the latest interview with WUSF Radio’s Bobbie O’Brien. We talked about my visit with the Afghan soldiers’ literacy program where we had a lively exchange about Americans and why U.S. troops and the coalition forces are in Afghanistan. The piece aired on the NPR affiliate in the Tampa Bay area yesterday during “All Things Considered” and this morning during “Morning Edition.”

  1. I recently discovered your blog and have spent the last few days reading it from the beginning. It’s been a fascinating journey and I’ve learned a lot about what the military is doing, as well as the state of affairs in Afghanistan. Thank you, not only for sharing this with us, but for doing what you do.

  2. Interesting ! But as of late I have change my view of Afghanistan. It’s time to git out.

  3. I listened to your radio interview and it is amazing to me that there are solders in the Afghanistan army that do not even know about 9-11. You are doing an amazing job over there educating and fighting for our country. Keep up the great work that you are doing and return home safely!
